Save the date: ARRL Field Day 2026 is June 27–28, and the Juneau Amateur Radio Club (KL7JRC) is once again setting up at the Hagevig Regional Fire Training Center in the Mendenhall Valley. This is amateur radio’s largest on‑the‑air event and part picnic, part emergency drill, and part contest.

This annual event is a massive amateur radio exercise and demonstration. Thousands of licensed radio operators across North America participate, often setting up temporary stations in public places like parks and fields.
